THE PROBLEM
Working exclusively with high-performing accounting and finance professionals, Evolve Partners is a very successful, specialty recruiting firm. Never satisfied with things going just “ok”, founder Kate Brogden had shifted into growth mode, with plans to expand the company nationally. Part of what she realized was missing in taking the first big steps toward a new era of growth was a definitive set of company values. In working with a peer group to define these, she also recognized that a well articulated brand—with a compelling look that captured the company’s unique approach and level of professionalism— was needed. Our goal was to ensure that clients and new hires would identify and embrace the same sense of drive that powered the company to this point.

THE WIN
Acceleration was the operative word when we boiled down what Evolve has to offer both professionals and the companies seeking high-impact staff. Speaking to both audiences simultaneously, a dual voice of promise and progression was baked into the brand. The tagline “Move Forward, Faster” captures this perfectly, encouraging both sides of the equation to continue their respective pursuits of growth via Evolve. Additionally, through our discovery process, working directly with Kate, we identified that the highly-competitive professionals being placed quickly accelerate in their careers and then come back quickly to help build out their own accounting and finance teams. We captured this dynamic with the “positive feedback loop” logomark, serving to remind the current and future Evolve team just how directly performance ties to reputation, which ties to repeat clients.
